Costs have been reduced quite a bit and despite the bottom line not being quite on the plus side just yet, the stock took a good jump as things are starting to look a lot better and I'm fairly certain we are going to see actual profit this year as they have landed multiple deals and more are in the pipeline.- 31 jan. 2022 · Ändrad31 jan. 2022 · ÄndradAnd this is what sometimes happens when you buy a risky stock with potentially huge upside. Intermap is not bankrupt, the financing with Vertex was renegotiated yet again, but we are STILL waiting for the financing of the Congo SDI to get through while the frustrated stock owners are selling and the stock price is tanking. Not really sure what to think about this situation. The company's infrastructure is built to handle a big project like this, but if the financing doesn't get through in the near future, they might have to start firing people. The problem is, these people have a very specific expertise and if Intermap the financing finally get through or they get another big SDI deal with financing after layoffs, it might not be that easy to just hire new people.

The company owes a lot of money to Vertex, but Vertex is luckily a friendly lender so I'm not too concerned about that. Naturally the stock took a huge nosedive today after the results and I'm pondering, should I increase position or not. There are risks, but the upside is all the more bigger, especially if they manage to sell DEM services to poorer nations. I'm all too tempted to buy more.

So many positive news and articles lately and this final step of the deal just keeps us waiting for itself to happen like a truth spoken by a Centre Party minister. Not that I'm gnawing my fingernails here, but I am.
