Den senaste h\u00e4ndelseutvecklingen inom v\u00e4rldspolitiken har bidragit till att priserna p\u00e5 \u00e4delmetaller fortsatt stiga efter fjol\u00e5rets kraftiga uppg\u00e5ng.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

USA:s tillf\u00e5ngatagande av Venezuelas president och hot om ingripanden \u00e4ven i andra l\u00e4nder, samt att Donald Trump inte utesl\u00f6t ett milit\u00e4rt ingripande f\u00f6r att ta \u00f6ver Gr\u00f6nland, har \u00f6kat den geopolitiska risken i investerarnas \u00f6gon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

USA:s ingripande i Venezuela har \u00f6kat sp\u00e4nningarna mellan USA och Kina som hade ett p\u00e5g\u00e5ende m\u00f6te i landet men ocks\u00e5 mellan USA och Ryssland efter att USA lagt beslag p\u00e5 flera oljetankers som en del av landets sanktioner mot Venezuela som backats av Ryssland b\u00e5de politiskt, milit\u00e4rt och ekonomiskt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ut\u00f6ver de faktorer som gynnat guld har silver \u00e4ven f\u00e5tt st\u00f6d av en ih\u00e5llande oro f\u00f6r att den amerikanska regeringen p\u00e5 sikt skulle kunna inf\u00f6ra importtullar p\u00e5 metallen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faktum \u00e4r att guldets lillasyster silver utklassade guld under 2025. Spotpriset p\u00e5 silver steg med hela 148 procent, medan guld avancerade 65 procent. Hittills i \u00e5r \u00e4r uppg\u00e5ngen drygt 3 procent f\u00f6r b\u00e5da metallerna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Det \u00e4r dock viktigt att komma ih\u00e5g att prisutvecklingen l\u00e5ngt ifr\u00e5n \u00e4r linj\u00e4r. Starka uppg\u00e5ngar f\u00f6ljs ofta av kraftiga rekylr\u00f6relser. B\u00e5da metallerna s\u00e5g betydande vinsthemtagningar b\u00e5de i slutet av oktober (l\u00e4s \u00e4ven: Guldet tappar fart, men storbanker ser ny rekordv\u00e5g framf\u00f6r sig<\/a>) och i slutet av december. Silvret f\u00f6ll exempelvis omkring 12 procent p\u00e5 en enda dag efter att ha n\u00e5tt rekordniv\u00e5er \u00f6ver 80 dollar per uns i en parabolisk uppg\u00e5ng, delvis till f\u00f6ljd av h\u00f6jda marginalkrav p\u00e5 terminsmarknaderna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u00e5ngsiktiga drivkrafter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Trots de stora prisr\u00f6relserna finns flera tecken p\u00e5 att uppg\u00e5ngen i \u00e4delmetallerna, s\u00e4rskilt silver, vilar p\u00e5 mer l\u00e5ngsiktiga drivkrafter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guld- och silverpriserna p\u00e5verkas i h\u00f6g grad av r\u00e4ntel\u00e4get och realr\u00e4ntorna. L\u00e4gre r\u00e4ntor minskar alternativavkastningen p\u00e5 r\u00e4nteb\u00e4rande tillg\u00e5ngar och g\u00f6r \u00e4delmetaller mer attraktiva. \u00c4ven dollarns utveckling \u00e4r central, d\u00e4r en svagare dollar normalt ger st\u00f6d \u00e5t r\u00e5varupriserna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D\u00e4rtill spelar inflationsf\u00f6rv\u00e4ntningar, geopolitisk oro, stora budgetunderskott och centralbankernas agerande en viktig roll. Centralbankerna har fortsatt att \u00f6ka sina guldreserver, vilket enligt UBS och Bank of America har bidragit till ett stabilt underliggande st\u00f6d f\u00f6r guldpriset, rapporterar Bloomberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Industriell anv\u00e4ndning<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Silver p\u00e5verkas av samma faktorer, men \u00e4r samtidigt mer konjunkturk\u00e4nsligt \u00e4n guld till f\u00f6ljd av sin omfattande industriella anv\u00e4ndning, vilket blivit s\u00e4rskilt tydligt i dagens utbuds- och efterfr\u00e5gesituation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HSBC h\u00f6jer sin genomsnittliga prisprognos f\u00f6r silver 2026 till 68,25 dollar per uns, fr\u00e5n tidigare 44,50 dollar, enligt en ny analys. Samtidigt varnar banken f\u00f6r en korrigering senare under \u00e5ret i takt med att utbudssituationen f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttras. HSBC r\u00e4knar med att efterfr\u00e5gan fr\u00e5n industrin och smyckessektorn minskar n\u00e5got, medan infl\u00f6den till silver-ETF:er forts\u00e4tter, om \u00e4n i ett lugnare tempo. Banken bed\u00f6mer att silverpriset kommer att r\u00f6ra sig i intervallet 58 till 88 dollar per uns under 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strukturellt underskott i silvermarknaden<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Silvermarknaden pr\u00e4glas just nu av en kombination av stark efterfr\u00e5gan fr\u00e5n industrin, begr\u00e4nsat utbud och ett \u00f6kat intresse fr\u00e5n investerare. Enligt Silver Institute v\u00e4ntas den globala silvermarknaden g\u00e5 med underskott f\u00f6r femte \u00e5ret i rad under 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Efterfr\u00e5gan drivs inte minst av solenergi, elektronik, elfordon, batterier och datacenter, d\u00e4r silver anv\u00e4nds i stora volymer. Samtidigt har gruvutbudet haft sv\u00e5rt att v\u00e4xa i takt med efterfr\u00e5gan, vilket skapat en l\u00e5ngvarig strukturell obalans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reuters och Bloomberg har rapporterat om tydligt minskade lager i den fysiska marknaden, bland annat i Londons silverlager kopplade till LBMA. Det har i perioder lett till brist p\u00e5 leveransbar metall och gett ytterligare st\u00f6d \u00e5t spotpriserna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fysisk och spekulativ efterfr\u00e5gan samverkar<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ut\u00f6ver industrin har investerare spelat en allt st\u00f6rre roll. Under f\u00f6rsta halv\u00e5ret 2025 uppgick nettoinfl\u00f6det i silver-ETFer till omkring 95 miljoner uns, vilket \u00f6versteg infl\u00f6det under hela 2024, enligt Kitco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c4ven privatpersoner har \u00f6kat sitt intresse f\u00f6r fysiskt silver. I Indien steg silverimporten med \u00f6ver 430 procent i \u00e5rstakt under \u00e5rets f\u00f6rsta fem m\u00e5nader 2025, trots redan h\u00f6ga priser. Det tyder p\u00e5 att silver i allt h\u00f6gre grad anv\u00e4nds som investeringsalternativ snarare \u00e4n konsumtionsmetall, enligt Silver Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samtidigt har den \u00f6kade spekulativa aktiviteten bidragit till h\u00f6g volatilitet. Kraftig positionering p\u00e5 terminsmarknaderna och \u00f6kade ETF-fl\u00f6den har vid flera tillf\u00e4llen f\u00f6rst\u00e4rkt kortsiktiga prisr\u00f6relser, vilket blev tydligt i de snabba korrigeringarna under h\u00f6sten och vintern, enligt MarketWatch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gruvbolagen gynnas av prisuppg\u00e5ngen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Prisuppg\u00e5ngen har f\u00e5tt tydliga effekter p\u00e5 gruvaktier. Amerikanska silverbolag som Americas Gold & Silver, First Majestic Silver, Hecla, Endeavour Silver, Pan American Silver och Coeur Mining har utvecklats starkt under \u00e5ret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c4ven guldproducenter som Newmont, Barrick och Agnico Eagle har sett kraftiga kursuppg\u00e5ngar. P\u00e5 Stockholmsb\u00f6rsen steg Lundin Gold med \u00f6ver 230 procent under 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Det finns \u00e4ven mindre svensknoterade bolag med exponering mot \u00e4delmetaller. Sotkamo Silver \u00e4r ett av f\u00e5 relativt renodlade silverbolag i Norden, medan Lappland Guldprospektering fokuserar p\u00e5 tidig guldprospektering. Sammantaget inneb\u00e4r stigande metallpriser f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttrade marginaler och \u00f6kade kassafl\u00f6den f\u00f6r producenterna, samtidigt som \u00e4ven prospekteringsbolag kan gynnas genom h\u00f6gre v\u00e4rderingar p\u00e5 framtida leveranskontrakt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
